1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using EgoSales, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services.

2. Use of Service

EgoSales provides ledger keeping, invoice generation, receipt tracking, and customer contact management tools for vendors and artisans. You are responsible for ensuring that the sales records, transaction values, and customer contact information you enter are accurate and conform to local business and tax regulations.

3. Local Ledger Storage & Loss of Data

Because EgoSales is designed as an offline-first application:

• Your transactions and customer database are held locally in your browser's memory sandbox.
• We recommend actively configuring cloud backups or exporting JSON data via Settings to avoid data loss if your device is damaged, lost, or reset.
• We shall not be liable for any lost sales, records, or bookkeeping errors arising from device malfunction or browser cache deletion.

4. Clientless and Anonymous Receipts

Our tools allow the creation of clientless receipts. Anonymous transactions do not tie records to client profiles. Ensure you maintain necessary paper trails for anonymous transactions to satisfy local tax compliance where required.

5. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data before making any major updates that affect database structures.

6. Limitation of Liability

EgoSales is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. In no event shall EgoSales, its creators, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.
